When reserving a Maltipoo here, you will have a couple of options available. You are always welcome to come visit us and pick up your puppy in person, but we also have direct delivery to your location.
We take pride in the fact that our relationship with you does not end when take home a puppy from us. As a conscientious breeder, experienced puppy counselors, and die-hard puppy lovers, we’d like to believe nothing can ever go wrong with our puppies. However, certain things are never in our control.. A puppy’s health is dependent on a lot of factors like genetics, exercise, food & nourishment and overall care. If something does go wrong, we always strive to help, Often at times even when our guarantee doesn’t cover it. While we may not be able to guarantee that your puppy will never have a health problem, We guarantee that we will do our best to ensure your new family member is a healthy one!.
With our CRATE transportation, the puppy will travel in a temperature controlled and pressurized compartment right under the cabin. we use dog crates made by PETMATE as they meet all standards of the pet traveling as air cargo. Also they are one of the safest commercial cargo crates in the market today. The crate is large enough for the pet is able to stand, turn around and lie down comfortably. Water and food bowls are attached to the inside of the front door and can be refillable from the outside of the crate without opening the door. Small funnels attached to the door by cable ties make it easier for airport handlers to refill water bowls. Food can be attached to the top of the crate in a plastic bag. The cost of crate transportation will depend on how far the receiver is and usually begins from $100.
The cost for transportation via a puppy nanny starts at $400 whether it’s by air or ground and will depend on the location of the client. A nanny will accompany and take care of the puppy for the duration of the trip (The puppy will fly with the nanny in the cabin of the plane and NOT in the cargo section). Traveling with a puppy nanny is a more comfortable environment for the puppy and the nanny is able to take your puppy on potty breaks while on the road traveling.
Nothing delights us more than knowing we were able to bring a healthy, happy puppy to you. We do seek out your help to ensure your puppy remains healthy. Here are a few measures that will help:
Send us a copy of the examination (medical record) within 2 business days of receiving your puppy. The examination must be performed by a licensed veterinarian. Your puppy will come with up-to-date, age-appropriate vaccinations, so make sure you do not vaccinate within the first ten days of receiving your puppy.
The daily healthcare and maintenance of your pet, including all the recommended immunizations and examinations.
While we de-worm and vaccinate your pup till the departure date, we’d like you to continue proper de-worming and conducting regular exams up to 16 weeks of age or more (or as recommended by the veterinarian).
You can make a reservation deposit to hold the dog while you come over for pick up. We accept visits on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Submitting the reservation means you are fully committed to adopting the puppy. Once you have chosen the puppy and placed your deposit, you also have the option to select a different dog upon pick up. There is a $400.00 deposit for us to reserve a particular puppy for you. Puppies are reserved on a first come, first served basis. Sorry, but puppies will not be held without a paid deposit. A deposit is your guarantee that I will not place the puppy of your choice with someone else. Your deposit also serves as my guarantee to you that you will be purchasing the puppy specified.
Contact us for the reservation document and to make the deposit.
Although many of our future puppy owners are all across America, some like to visit their puppy in-person and pick them up.
When visiting our home, we ask that you pre-arrange your appointment and ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:
Please do not come in contact with another breeder or another dog (other than your own fully vaccinated and healthy dog) 3 days prior to visiting our place. Additionally, do not wear any shoes to our property that have EVER visited dog park, public park, airport or highway rest stop. These four places are known to have an extremely high probability of harboring the deadly disease “Parvo”.
Parvo can survive on the ground and on the soles of shoes for up to 7 years, and can be transmitted to places where you walk. Compared to human viruses it’s like the Bubonic Plague (Black Death). Once you get it on your property or shoes, it’s virtually impossible to eradicate.
Puppies are highly susceptible to this virus and the majority of the time, once infected, it will kill the whole litter and future litters. This is the main reason why many other breeders DO NOT allow people to come visit their properties. However, we appreciate having folks come visit us and we think that with a little effort on everyone’s part, we can keep our property Parvo-Free.
We’re counting on you to help us keep our property Parvo-Free. If you do not have a “safe” pair of shoes to wear when you get here, just let us know and we’ll provide you with medical booties that you can slip over your shoes.
Summary:
Please arrange your visit in advance.
We respectfully ask that you do not bring another dog to our property.
Please be prepared to wear booties over your shoes before entering our house or walking about the property (we provide the booties).
Please do not associate with or pet another dog (other than your own) at least 3 days prior to your visit.
This protocol is necessary to help ensure the health and well being of our adult dogs and especially our puppies. Thanks for your cooperation!
